BLOG #4 differences between SAMR and SECTIONS

With the development of The Times, the human education model is also constantly updated and developed. After this week’s study, I have a certain understanding of SAMR model and SECTIONS model.

SAMR is a model designed to help educators infuse technology into teaching and learning.

SECTIONS is a model desogmed to provide a framework for making effective decisions about the choice and use of media for teaching and learning.

The SAMR model and the Sections Model are distinct. The SAMR model consists of four steps: Substitution, Augmentation, Modification, and Redefinition. Used for teachers to incorporate tools into their teaching. The emphasis is on teachers. The SECTIONS Model determines if the learning tool is appropriate by testing eight elements: students, ease of use, cost, teaching functions, interaction, organizational issues, networking, security and privacy. The emphasis is on tools. They’re more like complementary existences. Educators can use the Sections Model to determine if the learning tool is appropriate and then use the SAMR Model to incorporate the learning tool into their teaching.

This week’s video clip assignment is very interesting. I’ll be able to edit my own vlogs!
