In this assignment 3 I chose to update my BLOG #3 Flow Experience.
After learning the video clips from week 5, I re-recorded the Screencasting video. Based on Spatial Contiguity Principle and Temporal Contiguity Principle, I added new titles, subtitles and background music in the film. In this way, both text and pictures appear at the same time, and narration and animation are presented at the same time. It has greatly improved people’s learning effect.
In important parts, I added amplification effects and TAG to highlight important operations and content, so that the content of the article is more compatible with the Redundancy Principle and Signaling Principle.
Also, I applied the Pretraining Principle in my blog. At the beginning, I’ve already discussed Flow and its basic characteristics, and then I added a new video to help people to more complete understanding of Flow. In this way, the narration from shallow to deep effectively increases the logic and coherence of the article.
All in all, I enjoy learning multimedia very much. In the future, I am eager to learn more skills to improve my ability to write blog.
